Most people know Carly Rae Jepsen for the hit Call Me Maybe. While that’s a fun earworm in its own right, her discography runs deeper, and Go Find Yourself or Whatever is a prime example.

It’s a breakup song spoken from one partner to another, but instead of accusation, it’s bottled-up frustration spilling over. The singer lays out emotions from both sides of the relationship—a mixed-up, jumbled-up mess of feelings.

Despite the pain, she repeats the titular phrase, hinting that she’ll end up waiting in the end. It’s a song of pushes and pulls, frustration at the other person, and frustration at herself.
